The 3rd National Conference on “Microbes for a Sustainable Future”
Dear Colleagues, Researchers and Friends,
The highly anticipated MiCON 2024 will be held on January 24, 2024, at the Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) campus in Mangalore. There will be a pre-conference workshop for interested participants prior to MiCON on January 23, 2024. Both events will be organized by the Yenepoya Research Centre, a cornerstone research wing within the university. This event promises to present significant accomplishments in microbiology towards achieving sustainability.
The Yenepoya Research Centre is renowned for its unwavering commitment to interdisciplinary research that fosters innovation and facilitates the translation of ground-breaking discoveries into practical solutions catering to societal needs. MiCON 2024 is expected to bring together leading experts, researchers, and scientists from diverse backgrounds to deliberate on the pivotal role that microbes play in shaping a sustainable future by addressing current challenges.
This conference will provide a platform for the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and collaborations in the quest for viable solutions to combat microbial infections and environmental pollution. It is our great pleasure and privilege to announce that we are organizing the MiCON 2024 – A National Conference on “Microbes for a Sustainable Future. MiCON 2024 will be held on January 24, 2024, in Mangalore, India. We cordially invite you to participate in the conference by submitting abstracts for oral and poster presentations. Share your research, findings, and insights with a diverse and engaged audience.
The aim of the MiCON 2024 is to foster a collaborative platform where researchers, scholars, and experts from various fields can come together to explore the key role of microbes in shaping a sustainable future. This conference will serve as a catalyst for advancing our understanding of how microbes can contribute to a sustainable future. Through knowledge exchange, collaboration, and innovation, we hope to make significant strides in harnessing the potential of microbes for the benefit of society and addressing challenges. Virtual incoming presentations (VIPs), in the form of oral sessions or poster presentations, have become a pivotal part of academic and professional conferences worldwide. This transition to virtual platforms opens door to a broader audience, fostering global participation and engagement in MiCON 2024 without the constraints of geographical boundaries. With this aim, we offer a costeffective means for participants to showcase their research, exchange ideas, and network within their respective fields. One of the notable advantages of virtual presentations lies in their accessibility. Participants from diverse backgrounds and geographical locations can join without the need for extensive travel or accommodation expenses.
All VIPs mimic traditional in-person sessions, albeit in a digital format.

How to Register for Pre-conference workshop and National Conference?
Step 1: Click on the online payment link and choose to pay the desired fee.
Step 2: Once payment is done Take a screenshot of the payment and note down the transaction number, bank name, date, etc.
Step 3: Click on the registration form link, fill out the information, and upload proof of payment.
Step 4: Submit. You will get an automatic reply with the filled-in registration details.
