On the occasion of National Science Day 2026, YTI is organising IDEA TO IMPACT - Pitch Challenge, themed Women in Science Driving a Viksit Bharat.

This pitch challenge invites students, faculty members, and institutional staff to present science- and technology-driven ideas that address real societal challenges and demonstrate clear potential for impact.

Participation is team-based and open to UG/PG students, research scholars, faculty members, and staff. Each team must consist of a minimum of two members, with at least one woman member being mandatory. Only ideas that are grounded in science or technology will be considered.

The focus areas for the challenge include Healthcare & Life Sciences, Medical Devices & Diagnostics, Digital Health & AI, Sustainability, and Inclusive & Assistive Technologies.

Cash prizes worth ₹9,000 will be awarded to the winning teams.

The last date for registration is 25th February 2026, and the pitching day is scheduled for 26th February 2026.
