Yenepoya faculty Dr Edmond conducts training for Indian Armed Forces

Dr Edmond Fernandes, Chief Coordinator and Assistant Professor, Department of Public Health, Yenepoya Deemed to be University was invited as resource person to conduct a workshop on “Preventive Health: Fixing India’s Health Profile – Discovering Industry Beyond Medical Schools” organized by the Dept of Community Medicine at Armed Forces Medical College, Pune.

Dr Edmond Fernandes, delivered compelling insights on industry and healthcare linkages, preventive health innovation and the need to reimagine India’s health profile. PGs and faculty from Community Medicine, Hospital Administration and Community Nursing participated actively, fostering rich interdisciplinary dialogue and underscoring the Armed Forces Medical Services steadfast commitment to advancing national preventive public health capabilities.
