Admission Process

Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs.

Admission to Programs through National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)

Students seeking admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Medical, Dental, Ayurveda and Homeopathy need to appear and qualify in the NEET-UG/ NEET-PG examinations.

Students are admitted in compliance with the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS], Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi guidelines for counseling.

Admission to Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs not under NEET

Admissions to the programs are based on merit in the qualifying examinations. Students seeking admission are required to visit the Admissions page on the University website

Application for the Ph.D program is made in the prescribed forms, which is made available at the office of the Registrar/ website

The admission of the candidates is through the Entrance Test and Interview.

The Entrance Test is conducted at the Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) and the date is notified in advance.

Candidates qualifying with a minimum of 50% in the entrance examinations are considered eligible for the interview.

An Interview/ Viva voce is organized by the Ph.D Admission committee constituted by the Yenepoya (deemed to be University).
